Jade Jackson realized her passion for children at a young age, while babysitting friends and family
children. She began to understand her gift was caring and teaching others. At 16 years old, she
would begin her first job as a teacher’s aid; promoting leadership skills in the classroom and
encouraging children to bring books to share. She often felt children books provided peace for the
soul and happiness to their heart as she read them out loud.
By the time she was 20 years old; she became the Director of a child care center, implementing art,
craft ideas and developing curriculum goals for the children. As she read books to the children she
would often say “One day I will read you a book that I am going to be the author of.” The children
would look at Ms. Jade in amazement.
Jade would continue in the position of Director until the Lord began to show her that there were
many more things He had in store for her to do. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Marriage and
Family Therapy in 2011. Jade began to walk in her destiny understanding her gift was to care and
support others along life’s journey. Whether it was children or adults, she wanted to help.
Jade is currently an advocate for a domestic violent shelter and a sexual assault crisis center helping
heal lives, mend broken hearts and lending a helping hand wherever needed. In the beginning stages
of developing inspirational clothing line titled Giftly Inspired. The encounter and life long impact that
many children have left on Jade’s life has inspired her to write children’s books; books of
encouragement, hope and love.
